Ms. Petras works as an Associate Attorney in Kashfian & Kashfian LLP's litigation and trial practice. Ms. Petras advises clients through every stage of litigation, with a focus on intellectual property, employment matters, business disputes, real estate matters, and complex transactional matters. She also provides guidance to clients in navigating challenges both prior to litigation as well as in litigation, including trial.
Ms. Petras received her Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she served as Senior Note and Comment Editor for the International & Comparative Law Review and has forthcoming scholarship on patent law. While in law school, she also gained experience across a wide range of practice areas, including contract negotiation, copyright and entertainment disputes, antitrust analysis, employment law, and probate litigation. Ms. Petras' work included drafting dispositive motions, preparing detailed legal memoranda, and developing research that supported both corporate transactions and emerging digital platforms.
Ms. Petras is admitted to practice before the state courts in California. She has experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants and is valued for her sharp legal insight, practical approach, and strong analytical skills.
